Democrats of course would love to have the likes of Sarah Palin* [** See ** here] or worse as an opponent for the sake of their candidate, Obama or not. But what would be good for the country? Should one party really be concerned with picking the other's candidate? I am just saying that a Huckabee Paul team may be less bad, and have a more reasonable debate than what Rebulicans might end up with based on the calculus of divide and dilute.[lemon in dilute link is a reference to the movement of liquids(independents/moderates) from one party to the other: a moderate Rebublican would have an uphill battle against a real centrist in that Obama's support is coming from the middle while his policies are supported by more than the left.]

But the underlying current is that the two parties are incomparable, but that does not stop people from choosing tents or not even entering them. The point is, what the "F" are people thinking when they are voting? Well, they may have left their sinking ship of the right and will proceed to dilute and delude the left.]

In the first matter of the first MBA prez I took a bit longer {of a glance at a} tangent.
And reached a familiar metaphor {embedded there} : Poker. And {we can} conclude that he does not like to play the hand he is dealt and he is the dealer.

In the second matter, Electoral College aside, it seems a matter of black and white. In this case whether Californians want their candidate to be president or to dilute their vote. It is admirable that some states have proportional representation but when it is applied to a larger state and not to all states, it seems to defy some reasoning, much as voting for a third candidate on a lesser of two evils {theory}.

It should be clear that the only thing that should be black and white is ones vote. And the way the vote should work is that the winner is the one that gets the most votes. If a third candidate gets some, it should not be hard to see that the greater of two evils results.

Lemon Ship

Friday evening I used the sinking ship metaphor in a conversation[*].  It is more accurately the lemon (twist) ship, definitely in need of work.

Walking the plank plays into the dynamic evolution.  As a party wanes out of power, less partisan or more pragmatic(some may read opportunistic) members leave to dilute the partisanship of the new ship and leave a more concentrated sunken ship.  As I have now expanded the sort here are more to (un-b.s.) or blog search:
